Back-to-School Without a Hitch (Almost)
By Ambrose Bierce, Editor in Chief
The first day of school went extremely well for the hundreds of Hillside students in the school system.
School opening, however, was not without its usual glitches. The biggest inconvenience stemmed from registration, which some parents neglected to do in advance. The school district requires each student to re-register with proof of residency every year. Those who forgot had to endure long waits during the first few days of school.
Administrators say that all minor problems with registration and transportation have been sorted out.
