None Dare Call it Nepotism: Council Relatives Get Jobs
In less than a month's time, two of Council President Samuel McGhee's sons were given part-time summer employment by the Hillside Township Council.
The position vacancies were not posted prior to the hiring, newspapers report.
The sons of the Council President will be working for the Department of Public Works, and township officials - including McGhee - claim that there was no "favoritism" in the hiring of these relatives.
The CITIZEN-DISPATCH, however, finds this hard to believe.
How many young men are there in Hillside that could use a part-time job? Apparently, the Council is counting only their own children.
