Nathalie E. Yafet is a 9-year member of the board. A professional writer and musician, she is a cantor at Hillside’s St. Catherine of Siena church. She is a volunteer reading tutor and singing coach at our schools. She has a Bachelor’s degree in music from the University of Wisconsin. Nathalie and her husband have been 18-year residents of Conant Street.

Julien Le Blanc is a technician at Verizon. He is the father of two children - one a Hillside High School graduate, the other currently in high school. Julien has attended board meetings for five years. He has an Associate’s degree in telecommunications from Queensboro College, N.Y. He is a minister at Redemption Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Newark. Julien and his wife reside on Millard Avenue.

Lorenzo Kornegay is a corrections officer at Elizabeth Detention Center. He is the father of four children, all who attend Hillside public schools. He has an Associate’s degree in criminal justice from Essex County College. He is a minister at Living Logos Christian Assembly in Newark. Lorenzo and his wife have lived for 14 years on Summit Avenue.
